Our Vision

Our Strategic Direction – Aldersgate Village Senior Living in Topeka

Stronger Every Day...

Our mission of service to the elderly is more than 100 years old, but our thinking is new.

Our tactical plans with the Recovery Center have allowed us to accomplish several strategic operations at the same time. We have completely renovated one of our most outdated nursing units while also creating a state-of-the-art Medicare and therapy neighborhood for the region.

With the vision we have for this renovation, we are providing an entirely new level of rehabilitation to the elderly in the greater Topeka region - and provide a much more marketable product and service allowing us to keep our occupancy rates high and our cash flow strong.

the main lobby and reception area redesign in Manchester Lodge has created a flexible, community-friendly space to benefit the independent living residents. The renovated area is an attractive showcase to provide residents with new, warm and comfortable social environments.

To give elders peace of mind in modern, comfortable surroundings, we are re-imagining the Bracken Court cul-de-sac. With the combination of six, 1,900 square foot cottages equipped with integrated adaptive technologies, our goal is to help aging adults live independently longer. The cottages boast open floor plans with high-end features and advanced technology monitoring systems to provide comforting safety and security.

Working jointly with Shawnee County and the City of Topeka, we are reinvigorating our 29th Street entrance by adding new signage monuments, improving traffic flows and linking Aldersgate’s legacy with our vision for the future – coming soon!

Incredible Forward Progress
Aldersgate Village continues to gain major momentum on the path of progress, reaching unprecedented financial milestones. According to our most recently finalized audit, both our Debt Service, Coverage Ratio and our Days Cash On Hand were the highest in over 10 years. These represent tremendous advancements in both expense reduction and revenue growth, amounting to a net improvement of nearly one million dollars. This comes on the heels of the prior two years, where the organization completed one of the largest and fastest turnarounds in the retirement housing industry.
